1. Performed data cleaning, transcriptomic imputation, transcriptome-wide association study, and Mendelian randomization to identify genes associated with Myasthenia Gravis disorder using GWAS summary statistics from patients to integrate genetic variations with gene expression.

2. Identified genetic variations in Tourette’s Syndrome patients to assess their effect on transcriptome and proteome expression of genes associated with the neurodevelopmental disorder.

3. Optimized and performed cross-linked immunoprecipitation followed by sequencing (CLIP-seq.) method to identify the global interaction of circular RNA (cricRNA) and microRNA (miRNA) in cancer cell lines.

4. Analyzed literature, devised hypotheses, designed experiments, optimized methods, and performed molecular biology assays to identify novel alternatively spliced circular RNAs in cancer cell lines.

5. Optimized and performed quantitative PCR and biochemical assays to test the effect of blue light on gene expression programs in Drosophila photoreceptors.

6. Performed microarray analysis to identify differentially expressed genes and microRNAs (miRNAs) between chemotherapeutic-resistant and sensitive lung cancer cell lines.

7. Analyzed literature, devised hypotheses, designed experiments, optimized methods, and performed molecular biology assays to identify microRNAs (miRNAs) as modulators of chemoresistance in lung cancer.

8. Developed and optimized a Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectroscopy (GC-MS) based method to screen endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs) in human amniotic fluid and maternal blood plasma. Performed molecular biology assays to study its effect on gene expression levels during vertebrate embryogenesis using zebrafish (Danio rerio).

9. Designed a rover with an on-board spectrophotometer that performed in-situ experiments for the detection of sedimentary organics as biomarkers of life in a Mars-like environment.
